Systel announces strategic partnership with Corti to enhance French emergency services with Artificial Intelligence.
Systel SA, leader in Systems and Telecommunications for French Departmental Fire and Rescue Services, is pleased to announce its strategic partnership with Corti, an innovative Start-Up engaged in emergency call center support, deploying an Artificial Intelligence worldwide that detects cardiac arrests more effectively and quickly than human alone.
“SYSTEL in close cooperation with the Danish Start-Up CORTI has definitely entered the era of AI. For several months, our two companies have been working on developing a prototype for France” proudly says Nicolas Bottero CEO of Systel. “The mid-term goal is to bring on the market a new solution that helps emergency call centers staff to gain valuable seconds in the event of cardiac arrest. The AI developed by CORTI will be integrated into the operational management system deployed by Systel for the benefit of emergency services.”
“Artificial intelligence allows dispatchers to achieve more than 90% accuracy in detecting out-of-hospital cardiac arrests. We are very excited about this partnership, which shows that France is ready to take the step towards integrating innovative technologies that save lives” states Andreas Cleve, CEO of Corti.
After achieving conclusive tests at the end of 2019, SYSTEL and CORTI both confirm their intention to deploy the solution on the pilot site of SAMU-SDIS 74 by the end 1th quarter. The Artificial Intelligence will then be marketed as a manufacturer option and available for the SDIS wishing to perform at the upper level
